- I got a Box Plunge DIY because of the ease of it. It went together quickly. If the freezer ever goes bad and can’t be repaired, I can swap the kit over to a new freezer and I’m not out the total cost of a built plunge. If for some reason I decide cold plunge therapy isn’t for me, I still have a working chest freezer. This kit is really a “set it and forget it” deal. I clean the skimmer and filter, and use H2o2 and my water is crystal clear over 3 months later. I highly recommend Box Plunge! ~ Jason Montaño

Sourcing and neatly combining all the components for an optimal home plunge was a bit daunting so I started looking for kits. BoxPlunge had everything I needed and made it easy. I bought the control box and filtration system, and I’m so happy with my purchase. The control box makes keeping all of the wiring so tidy, and it was incredibly easy to set up with how plug-n-play everything was. Setup took maybe 10 mins total, everything is organized in a way that makes it super easy. I love that the pump and freezer turn off as soon as the lid lifts up, and all of the small touches like the wire protectors & wire sleeve make everything look so tidy. I’m a DIY guy and really considered piecing together all of these parts separately, but I’m so glad I decided to go with the BoxPlunge setup for how easy it was and how well it all works ~ Mark Garken
