I was looking for a reasonably priced way to do cold plunges for energy and health. I shopped for many months and was sad that I would have to spend more than 5k for a durable system. I was very happy to discover the Box Plunge as it was durable and with a fully adjustable temp that goes to ice! I have had it for over 3 months with almost daily use. Upgraded from an external chiller and inflatable pod. Leave my plunge outside so I was going to have to buy a whole new setup to keep my water clean. Decided to upgrade the whole unit to BoxPlunge. So far it’s been awesome. Very easy to set up.

I got a Box Plunge DIY because of the ease of it. It went together quickly. If the freezer ever goes bad and can’t be repaired, I can swap the kit over to a new freezer and I’m not out the total cost of a built plunge. If for some reason I decide cold plunge therapy isn’t for me, I still have a working chest freezer. This kit is really a “set it and forget it” deal. I clean the skimmer and filter, and use H2o2 and my water is crystal clear over 6 weeks later. I highly recommend Box Plunge!

I upgraded from an inflatable tub I was using outside over the winter, which got me into a nice habit of plunging but needed cleaning more than weekly and at times froze to the extent I no longer could get inside the tub. The BoxPlunge is a huge upgrade and it has been such a luxury to have clean and clear water at my desired temperature at all times of the day. I'm approaching 5 months since filling the BoxPlunge and my water still looks like new. Setup was relatively quick and very easy and the various components - skimmer, filter, temp control, ozone, etc. - are very easy to work with and simple to clean. I'm 5'9" and fit great inside the Box 14, using the compressor as a place to rest my feet or extended my legs to the edge. It's not like a barrel plunge where you're squatting but also not like a tub where you're laying back - it's a perfect sitting position for me. I have my BoxPlunge in the basement on top of a rubber garage mat and have been able to keep the carpet underneath completely dry and the area surrounding the BoxPlunge very clean by being careful about my entry and exit from the plunge. I spent weeks researching and am glad I went with the BoxPlunge and I'd highly recommend you end your search for the perfect plunge here.

I received my Box Plunge in 11 days, much faster than expected. I ordered the Box 10 to save space in my garage gym and the size is perfect. It was delivered very well packed and pretty easy to open and set up. The flat gray skin (Skin G) looks great. The Box 10 is a great size for me. I’m a little on the chubby side (5’09” 215 lbs) and I fit easily. I had to lower the water level from the recommended mark after my first plunge. I displaced too much water and it overflowed a little. The interior of the Box Plunge is very well sealed. The cords for the filter, thermostat, and ozone are neatly installed through openings so they don’t get squished by the lid. The control box was easy to attach and the instructions for plugging everything in were easy to follow. The rechargeable LED light and the ability to adjust and monitor the temperature via the cell phone app are really nice touches.

’ve been paying attention and researching cold plunge and contrast therapy for a few years now, and after enjoying a sauna for the past 6 years I decided to add a Box Plunge.
