Is a 1/3 HP chiller powerful enough for a stock tank?
Yes. Because the IcyBull™ uses a nearly 1-inch thick neoprene insulation sleeve, the 1/3 HP chiller operates with extreme efficiency. This combination provides faster "pull-down" times and maintains sub-50°F temperatures more consistently than uninsulated systems with larger, louder motors.
How difficult is it to maintain the water?
Maintenance is minimal. The system features an easy-swap filtration unit with ozone generator and a powerful pump that ensures 100% of the water is cycled and cleaned frequently. The included submersible LED and floor mat ensure the environment stays as clean as it is functional.
